DC Static Removal System

The ionizing units of the DC Line continuously supply positive and negative ions. Due to the direct ion output, the ionizing unit is able to reach a high discharging performance for the neutralization of electrostatic charges. This allows the ionizing systems to be used for fast-running processes or for neutralizing surfaces with high electrostatic charges. The high electrical discharge capabilities in practice gives you plenty of scope for the design and assembly of the ionizing system: • The mounting distance between ionizing unit and the charged surface or to the material web can be up to 100 mm. • At the optimum effective distance of 40 mm, very high electrostatic charges can be neutralized - at web speed‘s up to 400 m/min. • Also very compact ionizers from the DC line, the DC Jet for example, ensures the reliable neutralization of electrostatic charges. The small spatial dimensions considerably facilitates the installation in tight conditions.

 

Discharging direct current – DC Line
